I did weigh in this AM with a weight of 199.4lbs. That's a loss of 3.6lbs. I am enjoying the NurtiSystem food but its all about discipline that's for sure. Having to cook a meal for my husband and then warm mine up in the microwave afterwards. I am still sitting and eating meals with him - but it certainly a downfall. If you enjoy "family meals" - you might want to think twice.
A positive though - last night I had chicken wraps with hubby. His chicken prepared differently than mine - but still it was really good. And just when I started to get the growlies afterwards - I found a mint chocolate crunch bar. Wow. I am certainly not being deprived of chocolate that's for sure. There is a chocolate pudding that they have supplied me with - might have to try that sooner than later.
Birds are still happy. I am a giddy gal lately with them. I am trying to sell my fish tank - I have discovered that fish aren't alot of fun. They don't talk back. Ha.

Glad you found some chocolate to help with the new diet... I agree... fish are boring with a capital B.
Congrats on the loss!! I'm glad you and the hubs are still eating meals together, I'm sure that helps. Must be hard not to partake though.
If NS doesn't work for you, be sure you don't feel like a failure. I'm a big believer these days that we are not the failure, its that the diet fails us because it doesn't work for us.
If it does work, though, all the better. I wish you the best!!!!

Congratulations on being under 200! I'm not doing NutriSystem, but I've had to really be disciplined with my eating and exercise and have lost 8 lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks! Routine and consistancy seem to be key for me too!
Fish CAN be fun - get a betta. I never knew fish could have so much personality!!!
I have not dropped by in a while and you have not dropped by in a longer while.
I have always been tempted to get NutriSystem. It seems very easy to do, and the meals look pretty good.
I am looking forward to reading about your NutriSystem experience more, as it is constantly being advertised and the price seems reasonable if the food is of good quality.

I couldn't do the pre-packaged meal thing. At best i'd eat the same meal as everyone else, but add more veges and less meat to my plate.

I'm glad you are enjoying NutriSystem. I like the chocolate mint crunch bars. Some stuff actually tastes "real". The dessert bars and lunch bars are good too.

My fiance did nutrisystem for awhile. He really lost weight on it, but had trouble sticking to it because it meant eating something different than everyone else. Sounds like you have that under control though, so you should see big results!
I loved the little chocolate discs they sent as a snack. Not sure if you've gotten any yet, or tried any that you've gotten, but I thought they were amazing!
