Hi all. I started NutriSystem yesterday at a weight of 203.0. That 203.0 is too blame from an all you can eat buffet at the casino. And let's just say - I took it to its full advantage. And knowing that I was going to start on this journey - I had the best kick ass peanut butter sandwich ever. You know the sandwich where you have trouble breathing cuz there's just too much peanut butter?! Yeah that's what I love. I owed it to myself to get started - and with Feb 1st looking right at me - why the heck not start off a new month honestly and weigh in and jump in with both feet.
Yesterday. First day. It was good. Day included a cranberry orange breakfast loaf of sorts, macaroni and cheese, and chicken stew and dumplings. Late evening yogurt and granola. Added in salads and veggies and stayed under 1500 calories easily. The chicken stew and dumplings was really good. I never added granola to my yogurt before but I know that I will be doing this from now on. It's a nice change.
I have found places to put the food, hubby can open up just a couple of cupboards without food falling on top of him. He knows which to stay away from. This morning for breakfast I had scrambled eggs - power in a cup. But you add water to it and it puffs up and viola - eggs. It was quite good. I work this evening and have to put a lunch together - and for once I am not really worrying about it - because all my portions are ready for me.

Sounds like a really good start Christine. I think that getting the right food when you are on the run is the hardest. Having this plan with everything portioned out and ready to go will make things really easy for you. Glad it tastes good too.
Nutrisystem sounds like, food as fuel.
I hope it works for you.
soo...how does it taste??
hope all is going well! enjoy your food- I was looking at there site it looks really good
Okay, if you like this and it works for you I might give it a shot again!!
Wow - that was a lot of food (last post) It sounds like it is pretty tasty. Wondering about all that sodium though... How does their pre-pacakged stuff compare with the same type items at the market?
I'm still gasping from the pictures of food you had spread all over the house! THAT's a lot of food! Was that one month's worth?
I hope this works well for you - you will have to post pictures too!!!
Oooo glad that you found places to put all of the food! That is A LOT of food!! Glad you are liking it so far!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
I did Nutrisystem in college years ago and it really worked. I wish I could do it now. I think I'll live vicariously through you!
So you liked the eggs, eh? I found them too salty and rubbery ... but Gord liked them. Ha!
