Finding Myself.

Stuff. Today is Boxing Day in Canada. The malls are a zoo - and we stayed clear. People started lining up in the snow last night at 10pm for a chance to get a Nintendo Wii. I think there were a thousand people outside of the store - and 20 units to fight over. My mother said that it reminded her of when she had to stand in line to buy us kids Cabbage Patch Kids. She said that she ran into the store with her head down - grabbed the first two she could find - and ran the hell out of there. My cabbage patch patch kid had the yarn hair, not like the ones they make now.

My god daughter is still on the mend with her skin rash. She did not spend Christmas in the hospital - but was not 100% comfortable. They claimed it was a skin infection, with all the drugs and chemo that are going thru that poor body of hers - I am surprised that that was the only side affect.

My birdies are happy. They sing alot and the buggers are already building a nest. I am certainly not going into the bird breeding business that's for sure.

I am still sick. My stomach is twirling. Hubby sounds like he's dying, and of course I just cry softly. Ha. Haven't had a full on flu in years, but I guess I can be thankful that we got it at the same time. We went to bed last night at 7pm - and slept right thru till 5am. Got up and had some toast and went back to bed for a while. Felt good. I have been eating nothing but bread and peanut butter though - and gingerale. Not good waistline wise. But I am going to deal with those numbers soon enough. With the new year coming I am excited, but scared shitless at the same time. Have to admit though - I need you guys. (((HUGS)))


PS. Shout out to LORA! I got my gift bag in the mail from Trident! Along with a ton of trident gum, a pedometer, a water bottle - I also received the Biggest Loser Workout DVD #2! It was like Christmas all over again. Thank you very much to LORA for this - she asked Marty from the Biggest Loser a question for me!
