I got a Rubik's Cube for a stocking stuffer this year. It has kept me busy for many hours so far. I am comparing my diet to this damn cube of mine though. I can get one color - but when you tell me that I have to get another piece of it complete at the same time - I screw it up. Who the hell can get all the sides without peeling the stickers off the cube and cheating? I keep trying though.

So true!!!
Oooo good analogy! I bought Richard a Rubic's cube last year for Christmas, and it took him FOREVER and a day to solve it. But i'll give you a hint on how he did it... he cheated and used the internet for little tips and then figured it out. Me... I'd be peeling the stickers off! Definately not smart enough to complete it!!
Keep persisiting... where theres a will there IS a way Christine... you know it and I know it...
Time for all of us to link arms and get back on the wagon...
I am struggling too... I just need to swig the water til I am sloshing and cut the crap....
I love the image of being able to get part of the healthy lifestyle down, but having difficulty getting it all together. I can eat right, or exercise, or write it down, but doing all three is really hard!
I'm with you girl. I'm starting over. 2008 is our year!
I was at dinner with a friend earlier this week and she has a Rubic's cube keychain. I messed it all up for a good ten minutes and she had it back together in less than two minutes. I made her do it again just because she could. Brat.
I had one of those as a kid. Extremely challenging but it CAN be done if you keep trying. Just like weightloss - as you said! Keep working at both!
Thanks for the font. We have it! It's just really small in its original size. You made our saturday morning!
My hubby got a rubik's cube in his stocking too! It frustrates me but he can solve it with a lot of work.
Happy holidays to you! Sorry to hear you and your hubby have been so sick. Our family has been sick a lot too. Tis the season I guess.
I'd lose patience and interest in about three seconds :)
It's been so long since I tackled a Rubik's cube. Back when I did muck around with them I could only get one side too. The rest of my family could do two sides at least. For a fancy dress party I once went as a Rubik's cube..and made the costume myself (out of a cardboard box) at age 13 or 14?
