The wedding was nice - its 2008 now!

The wedding was wonderful. My birthday was really nice. The bride and groom paid for our room, plus there was flowers in our room for my birthday. That was nice. I guess I should also take it as a compliment that the wedding gown was pretty much exactly the same as mine except in blue. Uhhh, whatever. We did enjoy ourselves - I do have to admit that.

My birds were busy while we were gone. There is 3 eggs in the nest now. In a weird kinda way I hope they don't hatch, I am not really into the whole baby bird thing. I do enjoy the birds though - but just the two of them.

I have had some questions about Shannon's challenge. Please everyone join in! Here is the link to Shannon's Blog - contact her if you want it! The more the merrier - and I think that its a really good idea if we have each other to lean on. I couldn't start yesterday - so I will be joining in on Jan 7th. I am scared to get going again - but I know that I can't put it off for even another week - its getting bad. Really looking forward to being accountable to someone for a change. My days of sitting at the computer eating right out of the peanut butter jar - with a bag of potato chips by my side are over.

I did get my new computer. In fact hubby went out and bought two. His and hers. Isn't that sweet? The Mac is sweet and so pretty look at. Can't figure out the email though - but I was thinking about getting a Gmail account anyways. Seems to be more stable than my provider most days anyways. I may be picture free for a few days, can't even figure out that yet.

I love my Mac. I don't think I'll ever own a PC again, so I'm jealous.

I'm glad you joined Shannon's Easter Challenge! I did, too... and I know the accountability and support is going to be great for all of us! I finally got my groove back... and it feels good. This year is going to be great for all of us! :)

(PS: I've never eaten peanut butter in front of the computer... but last week I was eating hot fudge sauce out of the jar! Eeeks!!!)

Glad your birthday went great :) I'm not sure if I told you before or not but I almost got the blue version of your wedding dress too! It is a gorgeous dress, but I had trouble finding anywhere other then online.

New computers.. exciting!

Your honesty is refreshing and sometimes funny.. especially re: the eggs and hoping they don't hatch :-P

Glad you had fun at the wedding and had a room and flowers! And a nice birthday to boot! :-)

I haven't heard back from Shannon yet re: the challenge.. when I do, I'll make reference to it on my blog like you have!

I've been counting my WW points for two days now.. after many weeks of free-falling. That is success for me, big time.

Today my girl and I were shopping and she spent Christmas money on clothes. We were at a Direct Factory Outlet place with many stores. I saw so many beautiful girls, in shorts in short skirts, in sleeveless tops, figure hugging things etc. And I was looking like Dumbo when I caught my reflection in one of the gazillion full-length mirrors I saw today. I was not happy AT ALL by what I saw.. and found it hard to even take comfort in being back on track. I can't spend another summer this big again. I want to wear nice summer clothes.. and not feel embarrased for my husband when we walk together. That much self-loathing is not healthy.

We'll keep those Peanut butter jars at bay.. you'll see! xox
