I am so pissy right now, I had a run in with a co-worker tonight at work and it just makes me sick. I don't do confrontation very well and tend to get emotional when I am mad. To a point I almost don't want to go to work tomorrow, it bothered me that much. I know that I shouldn't let someone get under my skin like that - but I got angry. Oh course she's already over it and has moved on to picking a new fight with someone else - but grrrr. Can't handle stuff like that.

I didn't weigh in. I forgot. I am probably up anyways. Still haven't gotten my NutriSystem and contacted them tonight about that. A little concerned and of course anxious to get cracking.

During the day today we got 15cm of snow (6inches) and right now its -50 degrees cel. (-58F) with the wind. Another reason why I don't want to go to work tomorrow. My fricking eyelashes were frozen together by the time I got to work today. My walk is only 12 minutes - but its just not meant for humans out there!

Don't ya just hate mouthy co-workers. Love the look of your blog and its nice to see a fellow Canadian on here! Where do you order your Nutrisystem from? Is it pricey?

Totally understand the confrontation thing... I get butterflies and worry constantly about it, but it all usually turns out fine. At least you know this co-worker just likes to pick fights. Good luck dealing with her today! (... that, and the cold!)

You WALK to work in that kind of weather???? OMG! I don't know if ANYONE can get used to THAT!

For me, learning to let go has been very hard. I have now discovered just how important that is though. That kind of stressing over things can actually do physical damage, including making it very difficult to lose weight.

Take this opportunity to practice letting go. Your body and your mind will thank you for it.

I'm more of a "whatever" person than confrontational. I hate giving people my "power".

I was really some stuff online after you were whining ... er, I mean, discussing how cold it is there. You're right ... it's freakin' cold there!!

I popped over from Two Kids A Gear-head and Me because I wanted to know who lived where it was 57 below! I live in Indiana and it's yucky here and I HATE winter and I guess I wanted to see who has it worse that me! (Aren't I nice?) But I stayed to look around. Love your blog!

Ah honey, walk in there with your head held high, like it didn't happen .... she obviously has a problem playing well with others. She doesn't deserve the right to make you feel like shit. Think of the residents ... they would prefer to see your gorgeous face than her cats arse face!
Snow .... I've never seen snow ... could you send me some in a bottle????

A run in with a coworker is hard to recover from. Some people make a separate profession out of it....you were startled and shaken b/c you DON'T! ;( Hang in there, love.

Confrontation. It's as if you were speaking about me. I feel the same way. I'm sorry it happened to you. I hope you're feeling better about being at work now?
